ABOUT
Northern Technical College was established with a desire to contribute positively to Further Education and Training (FET) Development Programs in South Africa. By providing quality-assured learning programs under the auspices of UMALUSI and endorsed by the Department of Higher Education and Training, we aim to adhere to best practices, policies, and procedures.
Our foundation rests on the cornerstone principles of solid expertise, passion, ethical values, and sustainable impact. This is achieved through project and quality management interventions, facilitated by our professionally qualified management, academic committee/board of directors, and council, comprising subject matter experts, registered assessors, and moderators.
The main focus of the college is the provision of a wide range of educational training and development interventions. These are delivered through National Certificate Vocational (NCV) and National Qualification Framework (NQF) aligned programs aimed at enhancing productivity through portable skills development initiatives, nationally and predominantly within the Limpopo Province.

Our mission is to provide quality education and training aligned with the needs identified by the local communities and organizations we engage with.
We seek to empower both small and large communities across South Africa’s municipalities, government departments, and the public and private sectors by building capacity and making skills acquisition tangible and accessible. This approach enables various communities, institutions, and young aspiring learners to contribute meaningfully towards reducing South Africa's skills shortage and fostering a better future for all.
