W&R SETA
The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA) is a public entity established under the Skills Development Act No. 97 of 1998, as amended. Its primary mandate is to facilitate skills development within South Africa's wholesale and retail sector. This involves implementing learning programs, disbursing grants, and monitoring education and training initiatives in alignment with the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP).

Developing Sector Skills Plans (SSPs): These plans profile the sector, identify key skills drivers, address occupational shortages and skills gaps, and outline strategic skills priorities.
SOUTH AFRICA GOVERNMENT
Implementing Learning Programs: This encompasses facilitating learnerships, apprenticeships, internships, and other skills development programs tailored to the sector's needs.
Disbursing Grants: Allocating funds to support employers and training providers in delivering effective skills development initiatives.
Monitoring Education and Training: Ensuring that training programs meet quality standards and effectively address the sector's skills requirements.
